Mid-Year O-Week 2010: Jump On Board
14 - 16 July 2010
Ahoy there! This be the website for Mid-Year Orientation Week ('O-Week') 2010!
University is often said to be one of the best times of your life - a time for new experiences and finding out what you're capable of. To help ease you into this exciting yet daunting new era of your life, the university and a bunch of friendly volunteers called Yellow Shirts have put together some informative and exciting activities just for you!
During the week there will be faculty welcomes, skills workshops, and campus tours. Plus there's heaps of fun stuff like clubs, games and freebies. Mid-year O-Week is also a great chance to meet new people and get the important stuff out of the way. You can take a tour to find your way around campus, get your student ID, and get to know what your student organisation - Arc @ UNSW - can do to make sure that your time at university is whatever you want it to be. For even more freebies and fun stuff, and to find out about all the clubs the university has to offer, come back for Welcome Back Day on Tuesday, July 20!
You'll find this website useful for a multitude of reasons! First, the website is one of the few places you'll be able to find a comprehensive up-to-date listing of all activities going on during the week. And of course, make sure you check out the one-stop repository of campus information that is the O-Wiki!
So jump on board and join us at mid-year O-Week, and learn how to make the most of your time at uni!
See you at mid-year O-Week,
Your 2010 O-Week Team
